Under the sea - Annual Dinner '10

The chosen venue for our annual dinner this year was the Evergreen Laurel Hotel along the famed coastal night spot of Gurney Drive.

As it was a Friday night, the coffee house was offering a seafood Buffet which was fine with us. Well, most of us anyway. The absence of red meat and poultry were sorely missed by a few pure carnivores in the team.

The culinary delights of the sea being offered was quite enticing nevertheless.

Especially the barbequed lobster - which was a real big hit.

It was a rather enjoyable evening for the entire team as well as some of our valued business associates. The environment was pleasant, the company was entertaining and the food satisfying. One big, happy family...

Happy Birthday, Michelle! (01/12/2010)

We decided to take the birthday party to Michelle's home instead of the office as usual because the birthday girl was feeling slightly under the weather. Besides, we thought that she could use some cheering up as well.

May your wish come true, Michelle...


Jerry had a hard time convincing everyone to have a piece of the cake that he bought for the party. So, he decided took matters into his own hands and made sure everyone did.

Flocking to Flamingo (27-28/11/2010)

We had a company outing to Flamingo Hotel by the beach, Penang. Since it now year end, it is as good enough a reason as any to relax and unwind after another roller coaster year.

As it was a beach resort, we spend quite sometime at the pool side soaking in the beautiful scenery and having a much welcome dip into the cool blue waters.

Our accommodations for the night serve their purpose well. The 3-room suites provided more than enough space and comfort for an evening's gathering.

We helped ourselves to some drinks and "games" to pass the time.

All the fun we had in the night certainly built up an appetite the next morning - right, Jerry? Everyone dug in the complimentary buffet breakfast at the hotel's coffeehouse. Overall, it was a good trip for the whole team and we are certainly looking forward to our next company outing.

Ivan's Birthday (10/11/2010)

Today we celebrated Ivan's birthday. He is settling quite well into the team and did a great job of clearing up the mess that was left behind for him. Anyway, Happy Birthday Ivan!

Life in the fast lane

What are we doing here at the Malaysian MotoGP in Sepang? Well, one of our clients in Penang had a promotional booth there during the event and we were given the task to manage and organize the advertising materials for them.

As with any Grand Prix event, the crowd will certainly be there…

And what is a motor sports event without the babes. No wonder Jerry was there for 4 days…

We celebrated Jerry's birthday a few days earlier than the actual date as he will be away for a break. Have a good one, Jerry but you do know there will be tons of work waiting for you when you come back. Well, that's life in the advertising line.

It is Alex's Birthday!!

We decided to celebrate the day the world came to know of a little baby boy by the name of Alex for the first time 2 days earlier as the actual date falls on a Sunday. Alex, we love you and all but to ask us to come back on a Sunday to help you celebrate may be pushing the limits of our affections a little too far. Just kidding, bro. You know we got your back. Happy Birthday!!!
