It is Alex's Birthday!!

We decided to celebrate the day the world came to know of a little baby boy by the name of Alex for the first time 2 days earlier as the actual date falls on a Sunday. Alex, we love you and all but to ask us to come back on a Sunday to help you celebrate may be pushing the limits of our affections a little too far. Just kidding, bro. You know we got your back. Happy Birthday!!!

Going to greater heights (11/08/10)

In our line of work, we are always challenged to go the extra mile, do the unexpected, find that something that you never thought you had it in you and this time we really soared to greater heights...literally. To be more precise, it was the very top of the tallest building in Penang, Komtar.

Although the view from the helipad on the rooftop of the 63rd floor was absolutely stunning, your knees occasionally feel like giving way when you walk along the iron mesh floor.

Well, Jerry seems to be taking it all in his stride. All in a day's work...

The latest addition to our team (05/07/2010)

Shiau Peng is the latest graphic designer to join our team. With the work load starting to pile up again, the timing could not have been better. Welcome to our world. It's certainly going to be an experience.

GOAL!!!! (10/06/2010)

The 2010 World Cup will kick off tomorrow with host South Africa taking on Mexico. As expected, most of the guys in the office have caught the World Cup fever. Will it Brazil? Or Argentina? England? Only time will tell and come 12th of July, a new king of soccer will be crowned.

Back in full force (01/06/2010)

I'm glad to say that our team is back in full force. It is certainly a much welcomed relief for Alex and Fish as they have been slugging it out since David's departure. Anyway, I just want to welcome all the latest additions to our team. Let's start with Ms. Teoh, our new Accounts executive. ..

And last but not least, Ms. Leong, another graphic designer as well who will be doing her practical with us for the next 3 months. Welcome to the wonderful working world of advertising...

Alex is not new. He's a veteran by now but his new hairdo deserves some recognition though...

Farewell @ Flamingo (30/04/2010)

We finally got round for David's farewell dinner and it was at the Flamingo Hotel.

As it was a buffet, everyone dug in. As usual we held back by work as well as the horrible Friday rush hour and the delay really made up an appetite.

After dinner, David gave us a treat by performing 2 songs for us. The performing band was kind enough to let David momentarily steal their limelight...

It was a delightful performance and his effort was much appreciated by all of us.

Overall, we had quite a great time and that is a good thing. The free flow of alcohol must be one of the major contributing factors. Anyway, farewells should never be sad affairs...

Farewell, David (20/04/2010)

Today was the last day for our Studio Manager and one of the most senior members of our team - David.

Just because it is your last day does not mean you do not have to work. I'm just kidding. I will miss you, my friend. We wish you all the best and hope you will find what you are looking for.
