New Year Party 2011

We had our New Year Party at the hottest joint in town, Soju. Just in case you're wondering why after so long did I finally post this. Well, the truth is that the photos were taken from Fish's hand phone and the poor girl fell sick shortly after and was absent from work for quite a long while. Thankfully, she recently recovered back to health and we only got round to look at the images today. Anyway back to the PARTY...

As with any New Year Party, being intoxicated with alcohol is never an option. Right, Jerry?

I honestly don't know what exactly triggered off the fascination with this reservation notice but I guess when one is under the influence, anything goes.

CNY Gathering 2011

We had a little get-together to celebrate the New Year at Kee's place.

And guess who's back in town for the festive season...David Tan!

All of us were really in the festive mood and it was a much welcome break before we face yet another year in the 'wonderful' world of advertising.

Some traditions are pretty hard to forgo - especially when it can be quite rewarding in the end (for some anyway)...

It's your birthday, Fish!!

With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, the celebrations had an early start because we have a birthday girl in the office today - Fish. Happy Birthday, girl!!

The cake was certainly quite enticing.


Looks like Jerry is really getting the hang of buying great birthday cakes!

An uphill assignment

We had to go up Penang Hill and attend a pitching assignment meeting as well as do a site visit. Major upgrading plans are on the works for this hill resort, beginning with the new train shuttle service which is expected to be ready by March.

The site was a nature trail that the local body intends to promote to visitors to the hill. Well, this type of a locality actually makes Choy feel right at home. In fact, he even does his birding here sometimes...

I wish I had brought my birding gear along...

We even stop to smell the flowers this time and that is something quite rare in our line of work.

Just one of those days...

We had a puncture.

We got our hands dirty.

It was drizzling.

But we fulfilled our client's request for a photo-shoot at their construction site and that's the important thing.
