Ho,Ho,Ho...It's party time!

It has always been a tradition at Megan Nathaneal to have a little Christmas celebration and exchange presents and as well as to unwind after a another hectic year. Since we now have a BBQ facility at the office, it was an unanimous decision to have a BBQ Party.

Taking in all the calories and cholesterol...

And let the good times roll..

The main event of the night was the exchanging of presents and everyone has been eyeing on the the bunch of presents under the Christmas Tree all night long.

Since no one knew who will be giving who the presents, we had to eagerly wait till the very last minute to find that out when it was finally time.

The current team at Megan Nathaneal and the two name sakes of the company, Megan and Nathaneal.

It was then time to unwrap the presents and depending on what you receive, it could be praises of joy or...let's not get into all the profanity part since it is Christmas after all.

Kar Yee was pretty happy with her present. In fact, all of us were...

Well, maybe not. What's wrong, girl? Cash is the best present anyone could ask for, isn't it?

A little makeover for the office

Some portions of the ground floor of our office have been converted to showcase our EDP products. And the timing could not have been any better as it will help brighten up the place in time for Christmas.

Happy Birthday, Natasha!!

Natasha celebrated her very first birthday with us and we wish her happiness and good health for the year in front.

A number of the team members were no around. Some were on leave and others, on medical leave. Fortunately those who were present made up for our absence and it was a well celebrated occasion.

Lastly, we would like to introduce the latest addition to Megan Nathaneal. Please meet Max - our "webman".

UFO

Is it a bird? Is it plane?

No...it is someone having fun with a miniature hot-air balloon.

Right, show's over. Back to work, guys...

Only the rocks live forever...

I can vaguely recall a TV mini series back in my childhood days, Centennial, which had the title "Only the rocks live forever" for one of its episodes. I may not remember much about the show but that particular episode's title somehow is imbedded in my memory forever.

Why is that? Well maybe it is because in life nothing good lasts forever. Your relationship, your pet, your job, your client, your car, your hair and even life itself. And I find the title to be all so true - especially after all that I (and I guess everyone else) have gone through and experience in life. So, enjoy whatever it is while it lasts.

However, I am not particularly fond of ending a post on a negative note. So, guess what - nothing bad lasts forever too.

A Fiery Friday Night Affair

It was BBQ night for the members of the Megan Nathaneal team. This little dinner gathering is sort of a long-overdue "house" warming party that we just did not have the time and strength to get about doing since shifting to this new office. And can you believe it that it has been nearly six months already. Anyway, everybody got their hands dirty, sweaty and oily if they wanted to eat.

Boys and girls alike...

We had a feast and it's just something about the smell of meat grilling over a slow fire and quenching taste of beer that makes BBQ dinners so enjoyable.

Here's Kee making sure everything is just right...

And what is a BBQ without marshmallows, right?

By the way, we have not one but two interns doing their practical training with us this year. Meet KK.

And Frank. So, this is what life working at an advertising agency is like. Well, here at Megan Nathaneal it certainly is.

What's new?

We have added a few essential features to our office – our spanking new logo…

And a little something to help people find our office.

So, our office is gradually looking more and more like an agency. I guess it takes time to do up the place and our line of work, time is always a luxury we cannot afford to obtain. Anyway, the Creatives managed to put aside some time to get this photo frame arrangement up.

And they also managed to get our T-shirts out despite the hectic schedule.

Our pet Betta has a brand new home as well and he seems to be settling in quite well.

Megan Nathaneal is also moving up the ranks and is now part of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents “family”.

Finally, please meet our new Business Development Manager, Ms. Zurene Cheah. Welcome aboard!
